  • Highways in Iceland can be narrow and winding. Keep a safe distance from vehicles that are in front of you, so that you have enough time to react in any unprecedented situations.

The rental payment may be done with cash or debit card. Deposits vary according to the protection plan and vehicle you choose. This deposit is refunded once the car has returned, as long as the car is in the same condition as it was received at the office, and it can take a few days up to a month to process, depending on the issuing bank.
