Additional Drivers charges is € 12 per day but not more than € 120/ rental with a maximum of 3 additional drivers

To rent and drive a car under standard conditions, the mandatory minimum age is 24 years. Also, both the main driver and the additional drivers must have a valid driving license, at least 12 months old. People under the age of 24 (minimum 19 years) and/or a license age of more than 12 months, under the following conditions: - If the Customer or additional drivers hold a valid driving license, less than 12 months old, they can rent and drive a car by paying an additional fee "Driver without experience" in the amount of 500 €; Customers and additional drivers between the ages of 19 and 24 will pay a "Young Driver" fee of € 12/day, but not more than € 120/rental. Those over the age of 24 will not pay this tax; Additional customers and drivers aged 67 or over will pay a “Senior Driver” fee of € 12 / day up to a maximum of € 120 / rental.

Customers who fail to cancel their reservation from the source it was booked, at least 48 hours prior of the pickup time, or do not show up for their reservation are subject to a €40euro charge or one day rental charge, whichever is higher.

Debit cards are permitted if Zero Risk Protection was accepted. No cash deposits are allowed. Economy Rent a Car accepts VISA and Mastercard credit cards. No one other than the person named on the credit card may use that credit card for the deposit. The card holder must be present at the time of rental.

Renter must have a national or international driving license, valid for at least 1 year and present the identity document and a credit card, valid and issued in his name. The customer is directly responsible for obtaining and possessing all the necessary documents, including, but not limited to, the driver's license, which shows the right to drive on public roads, both in Romania and in the countries to be visit/transit with the rented car, Economy rent a car being exonerated from any responsibility in this regard. The customer expressly assumes full responsibility for renting a vehicle and driving it on Romanian territory, expressly stating that he has all the necessary documents in his possession, including an international driving license, for cases where possession of such a license is required by law. The cases in which the law stipulates the obligation to hold an international driving license for driving a vehicle on the territory of Romania (according to art. 83 of 2 of GEO 195/2002), are: (i) when the applicant holds a national driving license issued by a state that is not EU member; (ii) where the applicant holds a national permit issued by a State which is not a member of the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic; or (iii) when the applicant holds a national license issued by a State with which Romania has not concluded a treaty for the mutual recognition of driving licenses. The customer will obtain the right to use the car based on the national driving license, which will show the date of obtaining the right to drive.

ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE and Towing Service: is an optional product that covers towing costs referred to in point 6.6.n) and covers the towing costs up to a maximum of 500 € / agreement, key services (lost or locked in car), with a cost of 8.33 € / day, but not more than 100 € / rent

Economy rent a car has the following products available upon request: Car WIFI 7 € / day, but not more than 70 € / rental, GPS 5.95 € / day, but not more than 59.5 € / rental, Baby Seat5.95 € / day, but not more than 59.5 € / rental, Booster Seats3.57 € / day, but not more than 35.7 € / rental, Snow Tires 5 € /day from November 1st to March 31st, Snow Chains3.57 € / dayand other accessories. All items are subject to availability upon arrival. It is the law that children and babies be seated in baby seats or booster seat, you may be fined by the Romanian police.

Fuel is not included in the rental price. The customer will return the car with the same amount of fuel with which it was delivered, highlighted in the Car Delivery / Return Form, otherwise it will pay the value of the missing fuel plus a fixed refueling fee of € 20.

The car will be used exclusively in Romania, crossing the border being possible only with the written consent of Economy rent ac ar through a document expressly stipulating this and only if the holder of the reservation shows up to pick up the car a Visa/Mastercard credit card issued in his name, by paying the fee for the additional service "border fee" and the additional pre-authorization of the amount of 100 € on the credit card. This pre-authorized amount will be returned to Client at the end of the lease, if the terms and conditions have been complied with; otherwise, the pre-authorized amount will be collected by Economy rent a car. A fee will be charged for leaving the country as follows: a. for EU member states, € 70 for less than or equal to 6 rental days or € 15 / day for rentals longer than 6 days b. for NON-EU countries, € 120 for less than or equal to 6 days rental or € 22 / day for rentals over 6 days c. in the price of the border tax the client has included in the price 320 km / day, an additional km being charged with 0.35 € / km. d. for non-compliance with the conditions for leaving the border, a double value border tax will be charged.

5.1 L.D.W - Loss Damage Waiver * - is an optional product, it is a waiver of Auto Drive Motion SRL right to collect from the Renter for damages caused to the rental vehicle over the deductible amount. Deductible varies by vehicle. L.D.W. charges are: € 25 to € 35.00 / day. L.D.W. *All Waivers will be void if the terms of the rental agreement are violated. All of the products or waivers listed will become null and void if section 4 are not respected. If Renter wishes to decline L.W. Laibility Waiver or L.D.W. Loss Damage Waiver and rely on the their own personal insurance, the Renter must provide written proof from their insurance company, specifically stating coverage is effective in the country of Romania for the duration of the rental agreement for third part liability. A minimum security deposit of € 3000 Euro will be required, if customer does not accept L.W. then L.L.W will automatically be required. 5.2 Basic Protection Service: the car is insured for damages caused to third parties during the period mentioned in the Rental Agreement. By signing the Lease Agreement, Client accepts the terms and conditions of the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) under Section 4 and 6 and which is reduced, regardless of the party responsible for the insured event, its financial responsibility at a mandatory minimum amount for the theft or damage of the rented car. The mandatory minimum amount is the excess insurance deductible which is the equivalent of the guarantee covered by Section 6 below. When purchasing this service, the Credit Card is mandatory. 5.3 Limited Liability Protection: by signing the Lease Agreement, Client accepts the terms and conditions of the Limited Liability Protection service, with reduced deductible in case of damage. Mandatory minimum amount representing the excess insurance deductible which is the equivalent of the guarantee covered by Section 6 below. The cost of the product differs depending on the class of the selected car and the number of rental days. 6.5 ZERO Risk Protection Service: can be purchased at the rate mentioned in the Rental Agreement, calculated according to the number of rental days and the class of the reserved car, with a value between 15 and 100 €/day, and represents an optional commitment of the CUSTOMER by which he: a) Reduces its financial liability to ZERO in case of damage through its own fault or through the fault of an unknown author; b) It benefits from a replacement car anywhere in Romania within a maximum of 10 hours from the announcement of the incident/accident, depending on availability and geographical location c) It benefits from 24h/7 Roadside Assistance on the Romanian territory and abroad (only under the conditions explained in article 4.3); d) Reduces the value of the Standard Guarantee to the value of ZERO € if the cross border service has not been chosen. d) Reduce the value of the Standard Guarantee to the value of 100 € if the cross border service has been chosen. e) It benefits from meals and accommodation or the value of the transport to home settled by Economy rent a car in a maximum amount of 100 Euro, in case one of the insured risks occurs. In order to reimburse the expenses for meals and accommodation or transport to home (only on the territory of Romania), Client must hand in the return of the Car Fiscal Invoice representing the expenses incurred, which must be issued with the identification data of Auto Drive Motion mentioned in the Contract.

Local renters are those who do not bring proof of return flight

There may be an additional charge for dropping off the vehicle at a different office. The drop off charge varies depending at which office you are renting from and which office you are returning the vehicle into.

6.7 Roadside Assistance and Towing Service: is an optional product that covers towing costs referred to in point 6.6.n) and covers the towing costs up to a maximum of 500 € / agreement, key services (lost or locked in car), with a cost of 8.33 € / day, but not more than 100 € / rent. 6.8 Wheels and Tire Protection: covers the cost of repairing or replacing tires/rims, damages produced by Client, if the Zero Risk protection service has not been purchased. This service costs € 8.33 / day, but not more than € 100 / rental. 6.9 Full Prepaid Service: offers the Client the possibility to pay in advance, when taking over the car, the full fuel tank, marked in the Handover/Return form and to return the rented car with the empty tank. This service can cost between 50 and 150 €, depending on the class and the tank size of the chosen car. Pricecarz cannot return unused fuel.

Other taxes or penalties: Loss of keys = € 250; Loss of Documents = € 200; Loss of accessories = € 100; Refusal to complete the Accident/Incident Declaration (including in the case of purchasing the Zero Risk Protection Service) = € 1500. If the Car is not returned on the date and location set forth in the Rental Agreement, the Customer will bear the full cost of recovering the Car. A penalty fee of € 150 will be added to the recovery costs.

Accepted debit and credit cards are Visa and Mastercard. The amount of the rent plus a minimum of € 2000, will be held in your card at the time of the rental, once the vehicle is returned this deposit will be released this process can take 7 to 14 business days. We also accept vouchers from travel agencies, all charges will be processed in RON (Romanian official currency)calculated at the exchange rate of sale of Unicredit Bank + 1% from the day of payment. Prices are provided in EURO’s as a courtesy to our customers, we are not responsible for banking charges that may incur when using your card. Cash deposits are not accepted and Debit cards will be subject to verification at the moment of the rental.For those reservations that require a credit card guarantee, customers will be subject to a 3 day’s rental fee if they fail to show up to rent their reserved car with a minimum of € 50 Cancelation Fee if reservations are not canceled at least 48 hours prior to the reserved date through the source the reservation was made through.The difference amount paid in advance will be refunded to the customer's account (within 48 hours up to a maximum of 365 working days), MINUS 20 €. The € 20 represents the bank fees + logistical rental costs.

Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368. The grace period in which the customer can pick up the rented car is 2 hours, from the date and time initially entered in the "Reservation Confirmation" as the date and time of "Pickup". Flight details: if you arrive by plane, please let us know the flight number so that we can detain the car up to 2 hours after flight landed. You can tell us the flight number when booking the car or by phone at +40757664664. Make sure you enter the flight number and not another number sent to you by the airline, such as a confirmation number. We cannot be held responsible if a flight problem prevents you from lifting your car. Failure to pick up the car at the set time and date or up to 2 hours after the date and time confirmed as "Pickup", or did not provide the necessary documentation to pick up the car, or did not provide a credit card in the name of the main driver with sufficient funds available on it, the reservation will be canceled as NO-SHOW. In all these cases, you will not receive any refund of the money you paid. Economy rent a car will keep a car in the reserved class, available, if the date and time of picking up the car is longer than 48 hours, from the date of notification, regarding any delay for any reason.

By renting a vehicle from Economy Rent A Car and Economy Rent A Car affiliates, you hereby agree that any and all disputes and controversies arising out of your reservations and your rental of the vehicle shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

SMOKING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in all cars rented from Economy rent ac ar. If the car is returned with proof that it has been smoked inside, Client will pay a “Smoking Penalty Fee” of € 119.If the car catches fire or burns even partially inside due to smoking, Client is fully RESPONSIBLE for any damage caused, even if it has purchased any of our insurance products. Car insurance DOES NOT COVER damage caused by smoking!

The first hour of delay before return time is free of charge. Delays of more than 1 hour are sanctioned with the equivalent of a new rental day, plus the equivalent of additional services, at the rates stipulated in the Rental Agreement and 50 € “Late Return Penalty Fee”. If the car is returned before the end of the rental period, the amounts paid in advance will not be refunded. Economy rent a car will issue a voucher equivalent to an unused value that can be used at any time at any of the companies' agencies in Romania. Return of the car in excessive condition of dirt is charged with 100 €. The notion of "excessively dirty" is the situation in which the car needs to be cleaned inside, more than the usual washing procedure. Examples: stained upholstery, mud marks on the board, seats or bench, perishable garbage left in the car, elsewhere than in a household bag, etc.
