All drivers must meet minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply. Additional driver fee: $10.00 CAD per day

Vehicles may be returned after hours to the VINCI AIRPORT PARKING, 12345 Cote de Liesse, Dorval, QC H9P 1B4. VINCI will provide shuttle service back to the airport. There is a one-time fee of $25.00 for after hours drop off, final receipts will be forwarded via Email. Please consult with the Economy Rent A Car Service Representative at the time of rental for complete details. If you are returning the vehicle after hours, please park the vehicle in the parking lot. Customers can leave the keys in the key drop off box that is on the garage door.

Age requirements renter must 25 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in his her own name. The minimum age is 23 years. Ages 23-24 add $25.00 cad per day surcharge. Underage surcharge will not appear in total pricing. Under 25 years we will not rent luxury and specialty vehicles.

-NO SHOW- If you need to cancel or change your reservation, you must cancel and change it through the same web site where the reservation was made at least 72 hours in advance. On the day of reservation vehicles are held for two hours after reserved arrival time. After the two hours window, you will be considered a no show and we may or may not be able to honor your reservation, depending upon our availability. If you do not cancel prior to your arrival by 72 hours, or you are a no show, you will be charged a total of $ 50.00 plus mandatory taxes.

Debit Cards American issued debit cards may be used to rent vehicles, cards must have the Visa or Mastercard logo. Canadian issued debit cards or Stored value / prepaid / gift cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. Debit Cards without a Master Card or Visa logo are not accepted at the time of rental but may be used to pay for the rental upon return. Eligible debit cards must have the Visa, or Mastercard logo. Stored value / prepaid / gift cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental. The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $500.00 CAD will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process. Reservation may not be altered at the time of rental. A confirmation of your reservation does not mean that your debit / check card is acceptable.

All drivers must be 23 years old, have a valid driver's license (Ontario Drivers must have full G licence) clean driving record and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. A charge of $14.95/day applies to renters with Probationary License. U.S. driver's licenses are valid in Canada. Qualifications for renters from countries outside the united states & canada. - Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin. - Must have a valid passport. -Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet. Need 3 pieces of ID : Drivers license, credit card, and a third government-issued ID in renter's name For Ontario and Quebec license holders, we DO NOT accept online purchased insurance. Renter MUST have his own auto insurance policy with FAQ 27Indorsement and present it at the time of rental.

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel. OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or we will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per Litre.

For arriving airline passengers: Kilometers are unlimited with a maximum of 3000 free kilometers when the vehicle remains in the renting Province. If traveling outside of the Province, free kilometers are restricted to 200 free per day, 1,400 per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental. Access kilometers are charged at .20 cents CAD for each additional kilometers driven during your rental. SEE LOCAL RENTER RESTRICTION POLICY. BORDER CROSSING: Vehicles entering the USA are subject to a border crossing fee of $12.95 CAD per day and kilometers are limited to 200 KM per day, 1400 KM per week with a maximum of 3,000 free kilometers on any rental and .20 cents CAD for each additional kilometer

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle." At this Location, you must provide proof of bodily injury and property liability Insurance that extends to Canada at the time of rental. Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number. We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present the required proof of insurance coverage. THE RENTER MUST PROVIDE PROOF IN THE FORM OF AN INSURANCE DECLARATION PAGE, SPECIFICALLY STATING COMPREHENSIVE AND COLLISION COVERAGE IS EFFECTIVE AND ENFORCED FOR THE DURATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT (this also applies to the coverage that may be provided through credit card companies and third party companies that will be used at the time of rental). An insurance declaration page is the document that defines your coverage and limits. Insurance cards WILL NOT satisfy the requirement to provide an insurance declaration page for self-insurance. If renter chooses to self insure and use /transfer their personal auto insurance for the rental car a Insurance transfer fee ITF of $4.99 /day will be charged .

Unlimited kms do not apply for local rentals. Ontario residents receive 200 kms per, 1400 kms per week. Rentals exceeding 2 weeks or beyond will have only maximum of 3000 free kilometers. The excess mileage will be charged at 0.20 cents per kilometer. Local renters MUST have proof of their personal auto insurance in order to decline coverage. Collision damage waiver purchased online for Ontario & Quebec residents is not accepted. Some credit card CDW benefits may not be accepted at this location

The time and mileage or daily rate is subject to change, or a surcharge may be assessed, if the vehicle is returned before or after the due date or to a location other than the renting location. there are no refunds for early returns. You are responsible for paying all parking and traffic violations incurred while using the vehicle. If you incur a violation during the rental our agent will process and bill you for fines associated with the violations. In addition to any violation fees you will also be charged a service charge, of $50.00 per violation. These items will be billed directly to the credit or debit card you used for the rental transaction. Charges will appear as a separate line item on your credit card or bank statement.

Payment Information The following are accepted forms or payment: American Express Diners Club MasterCard Visa Credit Card Hold: The estimated amount of the rental plus 25% or a minimum of $1000.00 CAD will be authorized against your credit card at the time of rental. Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368. We will hold the reservation for 2 hours after the reserved time .Please contact location directly for any flight delays . If location is informed of any delay vehicle will be held as per your request. Location maintains a smoke free fleet. Smoking of any kind (cigarette, cigar, pipe, etc.) is prohibited in our rental vehicles. You will be assessed a cleaning fee of $200.00 CAD if the vehicle is returned smelling of smoke or littered with ashes.

There are exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver including comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail or acts of God. If you purchase Glass & Tire Protection we will waive a portion of our right to collect from you for comprehensive damages. Please read the back of the Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.CDW and Glass Tire Protection are optional; Your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle, check with your insurer if you are uncertain. We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present proof of transferable auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage. You must provide proof of Collision Insurance that extends to Canada at the time of rental. Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number. US Citizens must bring in Canadian Non Resident Liability Card as proof of insurance . We requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Jet Car rental vehicle while on rent. This rule applies for all policies, including collision insurance purchased from "on line" booking sources. Some credit cards may provide you the benefit of collision damage waiver or you may purchase collision insurance online. This is not full comprehensive insurance .Credit card or online insurance only cover collision. Comprehensive surcharge of $11.95/day will be applied to all credit card or online purchased insurance.
