Young driver: renters between the age of 18 and 21 years will be charged an additional fee of $6 per day, an insurance of $5 a day is mandatory.

Renter must present a valid driver license at the time of rental. We accept all driving licenses.

Child seat (up to 10kg) - $3 per day; toddler (9kg-18kg) - $3 per day; booster (15kg-36kg) - $3 per day; GPS - $3 per day. Snow chains - $3 per day.

Vehicle must be returned with same amount of fuel as rented to avoid a refueling service charge. In case the vehicle is not returned with full tank, a fine of $10 will apply and the renter will be charged $2 per liter.

Cross border rentals are possible only on request basis at least 3 days in advance (in this case the renter must pay a mandatory double deposit according CDW). Cross border rentals must meet the following requirements reservation must be on request and made at least 3 days in advance. Reservation must state renters email and/or phone number. Payment is due by major credit card. Renter must accept CDW and tp. Renter is not obligated to return the vehicle to Bulgaria ( fees will apply depending on locations for further information please contact us via email [email protected] or phone: +359 899 999 179) note: green card cost would be charged to customer (the price of green card plus permit amounts $100).

If the renter purchases a CDW or/and TP then renter is held responsible for the caused damages on the car only with the value of the deposit (according to CDW) - non-waivable excess. If a CDW/TP had been refused, the renter is liable up to the total value of the rented vehicle. In case of accident or theft renter pays for damage or the theft of the rented car regardless of who is at fault.

Unlimited Mileage

There will be an additional charge for dropping off the vehicle at a different office. The drop off charge varies depending at which office you are renting from and which office you are returning the vehicle into. The charges vary between $20 and $200 depending on the distance.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as payments done by bank draft (5 days in advance) and payments in cash (at the counter). Deposit: the guarantee (varies depending on CDW and car group), will be held in your card at the time of the rental, once the vehicle is returned in the same condition as it was rented, this deposit will be released (this can take from 7 to 14 business days depending on your bank). Prices are provided in u.s. Dollars but we will not be held responsible for banking charges that may incur when using your card. For those reservations that require a credit card guarantee, customers will be charged as it follows: for cancellation 72 hours in advance free; cancellation 24 hours in advance 25% of one day rental; no-show 100% of one day rental

Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368. Vehicles are held for three hours after reserved arrival time. In the event of delays, you may call or e-mail us to advice of any changes in your pick up time. After the three hour window, you will be considered a no-show and your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

By renting a vehicle from Economy Rent A Car and Economy Rent A Car affiliates, you hereby agree that any and all disputes and controversies arising out of your reservations and your rental of the vehicle shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

Thank you for selecting Economy Rent a Car. Economy is located inside the main terminal of Bourgas International (BOJ) airport. After exiting customs you will find our representative at our booth waiting to help you, we are located inside the terminal, no shuttle is required.

Airport fee $3 (from April till October). In case of lost registration documents the renter will be charged with a $120 fine. In case of lost keys a $200 fine will apply. A lost license plate will be charged a $120 fine to the renter. In case of lost radio/casette control panel the renter will be charged with a $200 fine. In case of out of hours pick-up/drop-off the client will be charged once $15. Road tax fee is $1.50 for every rental day. Winterization service fee costs $3 per day (applicable from 1 November until 31 March for all car groups) all vehicles are equipped with winter tyres and snow chains. Amended return fee amounts $20-$200 depending on the distance between check-out stated in reservation and new location (this fee is charged to the customer if he/she returns the vehicle to a location other than that specified at check-out). Additional fees may apply after booking takes place, but that surely does not apply to the price of car rental.

CDW is an optional insurance that comes in two levels where prices and responsibility difer depending on vehicles groups. Group 1: includes the following types of cars: MCAR, EDMR, EDAR, CCMR, IDAR, EWMR, IWAR, CFAR, EFMR, CDAR, FWAR level 1: the renter is charged $7 per day where a guarantee of $250 is required; level 2: the renter will be charged $12 per day where a guarantee of $100 is required; no CDW: if the client refuses to purchase a CDW, the client must pay the mandatory guarantee off $500; Group 2: includes these types of vehicles: FFAR, PCAR, PTAR, PTMR, FTAR, FTMR, FVAR, FVMR, ITAR, ITMR level 1: the renter will be charged with $10 per day and a $500 guarantee is required; level 2: the renter will be charged with $15 per day and a guarantee of $200 is required; no CDW: if the client refuses to purchase a CDW, the client must pay the mandatory guarantee of $1000; Group 3: includes the following types of cars: LDAR, LTAR, LVAR, FDAR, IFAR, LFAR, XFAR level 1: the renter will be charged with $12 per day and a guarantee of $1200 is required; level 2: the renter will be charged with $20 per day and a guarantee of $700 is required; no CDW: in case the client does not wish to purchase a CDW, the client must pay the mandatory guarantee of $2000.

When you arrive at the rental office: • There is no need to go to the counter or kiosk. • Prepare to show the gate agent your reservation in the Skip The Counter app, your driver is license, and your credit card. • At the start time of your reservation chosen in the app, you will be assigned a license plate number. You can find the vehicle in our parking lot. • The keys are in the vehicle. Unlock the doors with the app, drive to the exit gate, and enjoy the service.
