All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements and present a valid, photo drivers licence. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to additional drivers. Additional driver fee is $7.49 CAD per day per additional driver with a maximum of 3 additional drivers.

Vehicles may be returned after hours, a secure drop box is located in front of the main entrance to deposit keys.

Renter must be 21 years of age with a valid drivers license and major credit card in hisor her own name. Renters 21 through 24 years of age may rent a vehicle with an additional $10.00 CAD per day surcharge. Underage surcharge will not appear in the total pricing on the reservation

Our office is open from Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 9:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8.00am to 5.00pm.

A one day charge minimum 50 USD plus tax will be charged as a no show fee which customer agrees to pay with the Credit Card provided at the time of reservsation unless reservation is canceledat least 48 hours in advance through the original booking source or website.

Every rental agreement requires a credit card pre-authorization for the estimated amount of the rental plus an additional $500.00 CAD. Drivers under the age of 30 will require a pre-authorized deposit of the rental amount plus an additional $750.00 CAD.

Drivers must have a valid full class 5 drivers licence at the time of rental. The drivers licence must be valid for the entire rental period. International renters require a drivers licence in English or French, or an International Drivers licence.

Child and Booster Seats - $11.99 CAD per day. GPS Navigation Device - $11.99 CAD per day. Special equipment is guaranteed when is reserved 48 hours prior to pickup. Due to liability issues rental personnel are not permitted to install seats.

Option 1 - Prepay Fuel Option (Buy a Tank)Vehicle is rented with a full tank. You may purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental and return the rental with fuel at any level. There will be no credit issued for unused fuel. Option 2: Fuel Service Option (We Fill the Tank) - Vehicle is rented with a full tank. You may return the rental full to avoid a charge or we will refuel the vehicle based on the kilometers driven or level of the tank.

Vehicle may not exceed 4200 kilometers per rental even when mileage is unlimited. If the vehicle exceeds 4200 kilometers per rental, kilometers are charged at $0.35 CAD per kilometer. Vehicle is only permitted to travel with in Canada and the United States.

All rentals come with free limited insurance. Some restrictions apply.Your rental may have mandatory insurance requirements that result in additional charges at the time of rental. Credit card insurance coverage is not accepted as a valid insurance policy at this location. Customer must provide the location with a valid private or corporate insurance policy. If none can be provided, you may purchase Collision Damage Waiver Coverage through Economy at the time of rental. Manitoba residents, $750CAD deductible – 6.99CAD per day, $375CAD deductible – 8.99CAD per day, $0 Deductible – 10.99CAD per day Non residents - $750CAD deductible – 13.99CAD per day, $375CAD deductible – 16.99CAD per day, $0 Deductible – 19.99CAD per day

Roadside Assistance Plus $5.99 CAD per day - Roadside Assistance Plus is an optional service which, if accepted, reduces your financial liability for services required to remedy non-mechanical problems of the vehicle and/or problems resulting from an accident or collision. Lock out service maximum CAD 250.00 per rental, Dead battery service maximum CAD 250.00 per rental, Spare tire mounting service maximum CAD 250.00 per rental, Out of Gas service maximum CAD 250.00 per rental, Lost key service maximum CAD 500.00 per rental, Towing service maximum CAD 500.00 per rental, Udrive rates include Basic Emergency Roadside Assistance covering mechanical defects of the vehicle only. Personal accident insurance/ personal effects coverage $5.99 per day. Personal accident insurance (PAI) is an optional coverage for any accident involving death or bodily injury during the car rental covering you and your passengers. You are covered for the duration of the rental in or out of the vehicle. Passenger are only covered while entering occupying or leaving the Udrive car. Coverage may be void if any direct or indirect injury occurs due to the following. Intentional self-inflicted injury - suicide or attempt suicide - aircraft travel - committing or attempting an assault or felony - intoxicants or narcotics unless by prescription. Personal effects coverage (PEC) is optional insurance for the loss or damage to personal effects of the renter and any companions traveling together in the rented car. The maximum coverage per person is cad 500.00 with a deductible of cad 50.00. Maximum coverage per rental of cad 1500.00. Personal items covered are insured only while in the rental car. Personal effect insurance will be paid in addition to any other homeowners coverage. If loss or damages occur completion of claim form must accompany claim. All losses must be reported to the police and there must be sings of forcible entry. Property is valued at actual cash value and not replacement cost. A copy of the police report must accompany claim.

The renter is responsible for paying all parking and traffic violations incurred while using the rental vehicle. In addition to any violation fees, the renter will also be charged a service fee per violation. These items will be billed directly to the Credit Card used for the pre-authorization.

Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368. To process a refund or if you have any problems with your reservation please email customercare@economyrentacar.com. Must be prior to your pick up.

Vehicles are held for 1-hour after the reserved arrival time. In the event of any delays you may call or email us to advise of any changes in your pick up time. After the 1 hour window you will be considered a no-show and we may or may not be able to honour your reservation, depending on availability.

By renting a vehicle from Economy Rent A Car and Economy Rent A Car affiliates, you hereby agree that any and all disputes and controversies arising out of your reservations and your rental of the vehicle shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

"Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) Accepting waives any responsibility for loss or body damage including Down-time. The waiver may have a deductible for which you are responsible. Loss Damage Waiver is not Insurance and is not mandatory. The Loss Damage Waiver can be purchased at the time of booking or time of rental. If the Loss Damage Waiver is not purchased, renter is responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle and will pay a daily Down-time fee until the vehicle is repaired or a total loss is settled.
