Insurance are not included in the rates. International insurance, Canadian insurance, or other insurance policies issued outside of the United States, or online coverage policies and credit card coverage are not accepted at this moment. If RLI and CDW is not purchased from the location, and renters use their own coverage, the proof of coverage is required present at counter while at vehicle pick up.
Rental Liability Insurance Summary: Rental Liability Insurance (RLI) is a protection you can purchase when you rent a vehicle. RLI protects you against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while you are operating a rental vehicle. RLI provides primary liability coverage up to the required financial responsibility limits of the state in which the vehicle is licensed, This coverage is primary insurance. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) the renter or authorized driver is responsible for any damage to or loss of the rental vehicle up to the fair market value of the vehicle regardless of who is at fault in addition unless prohibited or limited by law. The renter or authorized drivers is responsible for the loss of use, administrative and diminished of value if the renter purchase CDW allied agrees to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. To eliminate all or part of the renters responsibility for damage(s) to or loss of the rental vehicle, CDW is not insurance. In case of any claim, the renter is responsible for filing a police report at the time of the issue. If speed, drinking or negligent driving is the cause of the claim, CDW or LDW will be terminated and the customer will be responsible for the full value of the vehicle. You are responsible for loss or damage to rented vehicle even if someone else caused it or the cause is unknown. You are responsible for the cost of the repair(s) up to the value of the vehicle loss of use where allowed by law, towing, storage and impound fees. Your own insurance may cover all or part of your financial responsibility for the rented vehicle. Check with your insurance company to find out about your coverage. Allied Rent A Car will not hold you responsible if you buy CDW, but CDW will not protect you for loss or damage under certain prohibit events. In California, the purchase of CDW is not mandatory. If CDW is declined, a deposit will be required of up to the renters deductible car insurance plus the rental. If full coverage insurance is not supplied a deposit of up to $2,000 USD maybe required. The customer will have the option of calling his or her agent for verification at the counter. Quoted rate does not include insurance protection. International customers must have valid proof that their insurance will cover them while driving in the United States. In case of accident and damages or stolen rental car, please contact our rental office at 310-410-2313. In case of injuries and emergency call 911, and call the police to report the incident/accident. TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS POSSIBLE. Obtain the following information: 1, name, address, and phone number of each driver, passenger and witness if applied; 2, copy of driver license, vehicle description and license plate number and VIN; 3, vehicle damage and accident scene photos; 4, name of insurance company and policy number of each vehicle.
