  Additional Drivers

Additional driver(s) not related to the primary driver with the same last name will be charged additional driver fee of $20 USD per day. The additional driver must be on the rental agreement and will have the same responsibilities as the primary driver. All local California drivers get 150 miles/per day unless the license holder can provide a proof of return itinerary ticket.

  After Hours

If dropping off after hours, park in parking structure where you see sign that says Allied Rent A Car and park in one of the stalls. Please proceed to our office and at the front door there is a small window that states deposit keys in there. Please note that the customer is fully responsible for the vehicle until the vehicle is checked in.

  Age

Minimum age for the renter must 21 or older with valid drivers license and major credit card in own name with full coverage insurance transferrable to rental car.Renter(s) between the ages of 21-24 will be subject to an additional charges of $25.99 USD per day on top of the rental fee.

Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.00am to 6.00 pm

  Cancellation

No actual guarantee fee will be incurred unless customer is a NO SHOW in which case a NO SHOW FEE equivalent to a one-day rental plus taxes and fees with a minimum of $25 USD will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee. THIS IS NON-REFUNDABLE. If your plans change, you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website where you made your reservation at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled, your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. CANCELLATION - Your booking will be guaranteed for pickup.   Debit Cards

Major bank issued debit Cards can be used, if the customer wants to use a debit card. (1) Customer must pay a one time non refundable denit fee of $75 assessed at the time of the rental. (2) Customer must leave a bigger deposit at rental counter at the time of pickup. (3) Name and address must match Driver's license or a return itinerary ticket. They must provide proof of address if it is a local rental and match with current driver license. (4) They will provide five references that will be contacted at the time of rental if it is a local rental. (5) Customer must rent for a minimum of three days or more. No one other than the person named on the credit card may use that credit card for the rental and deposit. The person whose name is on the card must be present at the time of rental.   Deposit Rules

Deposit must be paid with every rental contract. Major bank issued credit card with return flight ticket for minimum of $500 and up to the renters deductible car insurance.Customers who use a debit card may have a fee applied on the top of the rental.   Drivers License

Renters must present a valid driver license at the time of rental. Foreign/International renters must present a valid driver license with englisgh transcription and a valid passport. Based on the date of the entry stamp, foreign/international renters will be allowed to rent a vehicle for a maximum of 90 days.

  Geographic

Advisory: Charges associated with the base rate are those, which are applicable at the time of booking and could be subject to change. Only those charges listed as mandatory are included in the total rate for the displayed rental. Mileage Restrictions: Unlimited mileage as long as the customer drives within the states of CALIFORNIA and NEVADA. The vehicle is not allowed to cross into either CANADA or MEXICO. If mileage restrictions are not met, there will be a penalty charge of $500 USD and $0.59 USD per mile. Customer(s) fail to present return itinerary ticket(s) back to their place of residence are allowed, only 150 free miles per day and mileage restrictions could be subject to a change. Unlimited mileage for non-California Driver's license holders with return itinerary ticket(s). All local California Driver's license holders are allowed, only 150 free miles per day and can upgrade for a fee. All non-local California Driver's license holders with return itinerary ticket(s) back to their place of residence get unlimited mileage. Excess mileage will be charged at $0.59 USD per mile.

  Insurance

Insurance are not included in the rates. International insurance, Canadian insurance, or other insurance policies issued outside of the United States, or online coverage policies and credit card coverage are not accepted at this moment. If RLI and CDW is not purchased from the location, and renters use their own coverage, the proof of coverage is required present at counter while at vehicle pick up. Rental Liability Insurance Summary: Rental Liability Insurance (RLI) is a protection you can purchase when you rent a vehicle. RLI protects you against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while you are operating a rental vehicle. RLI provides primary liability coverage up to the required financial responsibility limits of the state in which the vehicle is licensed, This coverage is primary insurance. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) the renter or authorized driver is responsible for any damage to or loss of the rental vehicle up to the fair market value of the vehicle regardless of who is at fault in addition unless prohibited or limited by law. The renter or authorized drivers is responsible for the loss of use, administrative and diminished of value if the renter purchase CDW allied agrees to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. To eliminate all or part of the renters responsibility for damage(s) to or loss of the rental vehicle, CDW is not insurance. In case of any claim, the renter is responsible for filing a police report at the time of the issue. If speed, drinking or negligent driving is the cause of the claim, CDW or LDW will be terminated and the customer will be responsible for the full value of the vehicle. You are responsible for loss or damage to rented vehicle even if someone else caused it or the cause is unknown. You are responsible for the cost of the repair(s) up to the value of the vehicle loss of use where allowed by law, towing, storage and impound fees. Your own insurance may cover all or part of your financial responsibility for the rented vehicle. Check with your insurance company to find out about your coverage. Allied Rent A Car will not hold you responsible if you buy CDW, but CDW will not protect you for loss or damage under certain prohibit events. In California, the purchase of CDW is not mandatory. If CDW is declined, a deposit will be required of up to the renters deductible car insurance plus the rental. If full coverage insurance is not supplied a deposit of up to $2,000 USD maybe required. The customer will have the option of calling his or her agent for verification at the counter. Quoted rate does not include insurance protection. International customers must have valid proof that their insurance will cover them while driving in the United States. In case of accident and damages or stolen rental car, please contact our rental office at 310-410-2313. In case of injuries and emergency call 911, and call the police to report the incident/accident. TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS POSSIBLE. Obtain the following information: 1, name, address, and phone number of each driver, passenger and witness if applied; 2, copy of driver license, vehicle description and license plate number and VIN; 3, vehicle damage and accident scene photos; 4, name of insurance company and policy number of each vehicle. Submit all information to [email protected]. All damage major/minor should be reported to the rental car company immediately.

  Local Renters

All local renters from LA County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Diego county,Ventura County and Santa Barbara County, must provide proof of residency along with a utility bill with your name and current address, and provide proof of full auto insurance that transfers to a rental vehicle. Collision damage waiver and liability is not an option to purchase at the time of rental. All local California drivers get 150 miles per day. The return flight ticket with current boarding pass must be present at counter while at the pickup for unlimited mileage.

  Mileage

Unlimited mileage for non-local California driver license holders with return itinerary tickets. All local California drivers get 150 miles per day.

  One-Way

One Way rentals not allowed. All vehicle must be dropped off to the original pick up location.

  Other

Personal Property Coverage Summary: Personal Property Coverage (PPC) protects against damage to personal effects owned by the renter as well as any immediate family members of the renter who permanently reside in the renters household and are travelling with renter. The maximum coverage available is schedule personal property plan $600 USD per person $1,950 USD aggregate limit. Personal Accident Coverage Summary: Personal Accident Coverage (PAC) provides accidental death and accident medical expense benefit for the renter and their passengers. Coverage is provided for the renter during the coverage period, coverage is provided for passengers while within the enclosed portion of a rental vehicle. Only the death benefit and medical expense benefit will both pay in addition to any other coverage that might be applicable to the renter or passenger. The maximum coverage available is schedule Personal Accident Coverage plan death benefits $225,000 USD insured renter, $125,000 USD passengers. Medical expense $2,225 USD insured renter, $2,225 USD passengers. Ambulance expense $250 USD insured renter, $250 USD passengers.

  Payment

This location accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit card. No one other than the person named on the credit card may use that credit card for the rental and deposit. The person whose name is on the card must be physical present at the time of rental. Prepaid bookings require a valid credit or debit card to cover the deposit amount held at the time of pick up. Personal Checks, Cash and Prepaid Cards are not accepted. Debit Cards can be used for one time non refundable fee of $75 assessed at the time of the rental. The security deposit is the amount collected in addition to the total rental amount on the rental agreement. Renter is required to pay an additional $500 or up to insurance claim deducible amount for every rental/every time. The security deposit cannot be used towards the rental. Security deposit is returned back to renters payment card when the rental car is returned after deducting any additional charges and incidental if any. Security deposits can be used towards the incidentals that are determined at the time of the return for example: Discrepancy in fuel returned, after hours drop off charges, late return fee etc.

  Pickup/Drop

Please proceed to park inside the parking structure and the lot attendant will inform you where to park vehicle, if dropping off after hours, park in parking structure where you see sign that says Allied Rent A Car and park in one of the stalls. Please proceed to our office and at the front door there is a small window that states deposit keys in there.   Prepaid Reservations

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368.   Reservation hold time

  Rules

By renting a vehicle from Economy Rent A Car and Economy Rent A Car affiliates, you hereby agree that any and all disputes and controversies arising out of your reservations and your rental of the vehicle shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association. The extra day rental rate will be applied after one hour late of scheduled return time.

  Shuttle

Thank you for choosing Economy Rent A Car represented by Allied Rent a Car. Please proceed outside of your arrival terminal. Please locate a large pink sign that reads: lax shuttle airline connection. Please stand under the pink sign and look for the bus that says METRO-CONNECTOR. When you board the bus, please ask the driver to let you exit at the "remote car rental depot" (it is very important you communicate this exit information to the driver). Upon arriving at the remote car rental depot, the Allied/Economy Rent a Car driver will be arriving in black/white shuttle to transport you to the rental office. Please note our courtesy shuttle timings from remote rental car depot to our rental office: First Shuttle leaves at 8:15 AM. Last Shuttle leaves at 7:15 PM (Monday to Friday), and 5:30 PM (Saturday and Sunday)

  CDW

  Late Charge

A charge of $25.00 late fee and a full extra days charge will be applied if vehicle is returned 1 hour pass the scheduled return time.

  Tolls and Other Extras Rates

All Parking, Toll and traffic violations are the renter’s responsibility. You have the option to purchase Toll Pass at counter. If Toll Pass not purchased, you authorized us to process and bill you for unpaid toll violation incurred by you or assessed against us or the vehicle during this rental. You will be charged a Non-refundable administration fee of $50 for each violation.You authorized us and our affiliates to bill all these items directly to the credit card/debit card you used for this rental transaction.

  Keyless Policies

When you arrive at the rental office: • There is no need to go to the counter or kiosk. • Prepare to show the gate agent your reservation in the Skip The Counter app, your driver is license, and your credit card. • At the start time of your reservation chosen in the app, you will be assigned a license plate number. You can find the vehicle in our parking lot. • The keys are in the vehicle. Unlock the doors with the app, drive to the exit gate, and enjoy the service. This optional service is offered at certain offices. Please check if your office offers this service.

  Drop off charges and early return

All vehicle need to drop off to the original pick up location. Early return of vehicle will not result in a refund unused rental days.
