The customer can do an afterhours drop off anytime by doping the keys in the key drop box in the Avalon Airport Terminal, Arrivals Hall. However,the vehicle will not be classified as returned until our staff have checked over the vehicle during normal office hours

All renters and additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age and no older than 80 years of age at the time of rental. Drivers aged 21-24 may rent a vehicle by taking the collision damage waiver of $28.00 per day with liability remaining at highest level for the vehicle. Drivers over the age of 25 have the option of adding the collision damage waiver, which will reduce the liability.Additional drivers are charged at $5.50 AUDPer day, must present a valid drivers license.

Our office hours (including the shuttle bus) will only operate between 7am - 11:45pm, 7 days per week.

Our cancellation policy is if you cancel 3 to 1 days before the booking date, 50% of the qouted amount is charged. If you cancel on the day or are a no show, 100% of the quoted amount is charged.

Renter must present a valid driver license at the time of rental. Probationary licensed drivers are not allowed by law to drive vehicles with more than 9 passengers. Foreign renters must present a valid driver license and a valid passport. Licenses not in English must be accompanied by an approved translation.

Turnbulls Hire has the following products available upon request: GPS, baby seat, booster seats and enclosed trailers. Prices vary and all items are subject to availability upon arrival. It is the law that children under 7 years and babies be seated in appropriate baby seats or booster seats.

Vehicle will be provided full of fuel. To avoid a refueling service charges please return the vehicle full of fuel. (Must indicate full on the gauge)Fuel service charge is $10.00 AUD plus $1.90aud per liter.

Vehicles cannot be taken outside the country of Australia. If the vehicle is taken out of the country Customer will pay to Economy the full value of the vehicle in addition to being liable for any legal action that may apply.

All customers who possess a driver licenses issued in Australia are considered local renters. Local renters are required to provide documentation that confirms their residential address.

Unlimited free mileage on all cars with the following exception. Standard Passenger Vans and all Pick-ups have a mileage cap of 100 free kms per day and 0.33 AUD per additional km.

We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. All cards incur a small surcharge. The estimated amount of the rental plus a minimum of a $1000.00 AUD bond will be held against your credit card at the time of rental for all bookings. Once the vehicle is returned your deposit will be released and this process can take up to 7 to 14 business days. We will not be responsible for transaction fees or bank fees related to charges. We do not accept cash bonds.

Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368. By renting a vehicle from Economy Rent A Car and Economy Rent A Car affiliates, you hereby agree that any and all disputes and controversies arising out of your reservations and your rental of the vehicle shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

Our shuttle will stop in Bay #4 in the bus depot (not the Uber pickup) "

Collision damage waiver is an optional product available for driver/s aged 25 and over. It enables the customer to reduce the payable liability in most cases of damage or accidents.
