  Additional Drivers

Additional driver charge is $5.00 per day with a maximum of 3 additional drivers. Additional drivers ages 18- 24 years is $10 per day.

  Age

The minimum age of the renter or any additional driver is 18. Drivers age 18-24 may rent a vehicle for an additional charge of $10.00 per day. No additional charges will apply if renter is 25 years or over.

  Business Hours

This office is open 8:00am to 6:00pm daily and 8:00am to 3:00pm on Christmas day. Special hours are from 7:00pm - 10:00pm for incoming confirmed reservations on late flights.

  Cancellation

Guests should cancel directly from the booking source as well as advise the office directly of any cancellations, using the confirmation number generated at the time of booking. Any reservations cancelled less than 48hrs before reservation time is charged a rate of $25.00.

  Debit Cards

Debit cards are permitted with higher deposits required. No cash deposits are allowed. Economy rent a car accepts VISA, Master Card, Discover and AMEX. No one other than the person named on the credit card may use that credit card for the deposit. Card holder must be present at the time of rental with identification (I.D), and the credit card must be presented at the time of pick up. The name and signature on the rear of the card must match the name and signature on the I.D. A deposit plus total cost of rental will be authorized on the credit card at the time of pick up. The authorization may be used towards damages to the vehicle (if any), late charges, refueling or any other additional fees.

  Drivers License

Renter must present a valid driver license at the time of rental.

  Emergency Info

Emergency roadside assistance program (ERP): all contracts will be automatically enrolled in the emergency roadside assistance (ERA) program at a surcharge of $1.99/day. Services may include jump starts, tire changes, gas services (in case renter runs out of gas) product pricing will be charged at prevailing rates. If customer prefers not to participate, they must decline participation upon rental pick up and be responsible for any *service fees* in the event any such services listed above may be required.

  Gas

Vehicle should be returned with same amount of fuel as rented to avoid a refueling service charge. Customers may select one of the following options for refuel: Fuel-to-go (prepaid fuel): this option allows renters to pay for full tank of gas at the time of pick-up at current average on-island rates and return empty. There is no refund for unused fuel. Fuel charged at completion: allow renters to pay for fuel used at the end of their rental at a rate of $11.50 per gallon. Refill before return: renters can refill vehicle to issued fuel level before returning unit. There are no refunds on fuel refill overages.

  Geographic

Vehicles can be taken on any roads and off roads in Providenciales Vehicles are not to be taken on the beach and driven in the sand otherwise this is considered negligence and a violation of company policy. An immediate charge of $500.00 for debugging and undercarriage damage will apply.

  Insurance

Liability insurance is government mandated and is complimentary to each renter as it is included in the rental fee. In the event of an accident, renter is required to stay at the scene of the accident and contact the police to make a police report.

  One-Way

There may be an additional charge for dropping off the vehicle at a different location. The drop off charge varies depending on where vehicle is returned. Hotels, villas, private airport and ferry locations are all suitable drop off points; appropriate fees will apply depending on distance of location.

  Other

Extra hour rate $10.00/ HR, extra day rate is charged and prevailing one day rate if vehicle is late more than 2 hrs. Child seats $5.00/ DY, complimentary prepaid cell phones are available upon request only. Renters are responsible, at additional cost, for the purchase of prepaid minutes to be placed on the phone for use. Calling rates are subject to rules and regulations of local telephone companies.

  Payment

We accept Master Card, VISA, Discover snd Debit Cards. Deposit: the amount of the rent plus a minimum of $ 300.00, will be held on your card at the time of the rental. Once the vehicle is returned deposit will be released on our end. International processing can take anywhere between 1 to 21 business days.

  Prepaid Debit Cards

Customers who make a prepaid reservation using a debit card need to be aware that the renting location may require a credit card in the renters name be used for leaving a deposit for the rental in order to rent the car. Customers who do not have a credit card may be denied rental.

  Prepaid Reservations

If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368. To process a refund or if you have any problems with your reservation please email customercare@economyrentacar.com. Must be prior to your pick up.

  Reservation hold time

Vehicles are held for 2 hours after the stated arrival time. In the case of arrivals with provided flight numbers, vehicles are held for 2 hours after flight has landed and cleared. In the event of flight delays or emergencies vehicles may be held for extended periods beyond the 2 hour threshold provided that the new arrival time has been updated on flight arrival screens.   Rules

By renting a vehicle from Economy Rent A Car and Economy Rent A Car affiliates, you hereby agree that any and all disputes and controversies arising out of your reservations and your rental of the vehicle shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.

THERE ARE 3 AVAILABLE C.D.W OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO RENTERS: OPTION 1. CDW BASIC: ADDITIONAL $12.99 DAILY- CDW is an optional damage coverage available whilst the vehicle is under rental agreement. CDW is not an insurance, but is a waiver between the renter and the Company, that the Company waives their right to charge the renter for valid Collision or damage to the Vehicle provided the Vehicle is used in accordance with the rental agreement. It covers damages to the rental vehicle after the deductible of $800.00 is met by the renter. CDW is at an additional rate of $12.99 daily. Please note that damages to or replacement of tires and rims, windshield and mirrors and keys are NOT covered under this service. OPTION 2. CDW BASIC PLUS: ADDITIONAL $18.99 DAILY- this OPTION INCLUDES TIRE PROTECTION (TP). CDW is an optional damage coverage available whilst the vehicle is under rental agreement. CDW is not an insurance, but is a waiver between the renter and the Company, that the Company waives their right to charge the renter for valid Collision or damage to the Vehicle provided the Vehicle is used in accordance with the rental agreement. It covers damages to the rental vehicle after the deductible of $500.00 is met by the renter. CDW is at an additional rate of $18.99 daily. Please note that damages to or replacement of tires and rims,are covered under this service. Please note that lost keys are NOT covered under this service. OPTION 3. CDW GOLD: ADDITIONAL $24.99 DAILY- this OPTION INCLUDES GLASS AND TIRE PROTECTION (GTP) AND PERSONAL ACCIDENT WAIVER (PAW). CDW is an optional damage coverage available whilst the vehicle is under rental agreement. CDW is not an insurance, but is a waiver between the renter and the Company, that the Company waives their right to charge the renter for valid Collision or damage to the Vehicle provided the Vehicle is used in accordance with the rental agreement. It covers damages to the rental vehicle after the deductible of $300.00 is met by the renter. CDW is at an additional rate of $24.99 daily. Please note that damages to or replacement of tires and rims, windshield and mirrors are covered under this service and personal accidents. Please note that lost keys are NOT covered under this service. DECLINING Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): FOR ANY RENTER DECLINING C.D.W HIGHER DEPOSITS MAY APPLY. Any damages sustained to the unit whilst under contract, is the sole responsibility of the renter. Total costs levied are on are on a case by case basis. Renter is responsible for total damages to unit and to return unit to its original rentable state. Damage charges will be applied to credit card provided.

  KEYLESS_POLICIES

When you arrive at the rental office: • There is no need to go to the counter or kiosk. • Prepare to show the gate agent your reservation in the Skip The Counter app, your driver is license, and your credit card. • At the start time of your reservation chosen in the app, you will be assigned a license plate number. You can find the vehicle in our parking lot. • The keys are in the vehicle. Unlock the doors with the app, drive to the exit gate, and enjoy the service. This optional service is offered at certain offices. Please check if your office offers this service.
