Additional drivers must qualify in the same manner as the primary driver. Additional drivers also share equal responsibility for the rental vehicle. Additional drivers will be subject to a surcharge of $10.00 per day.

Driver¿s license requirement - all renters must have a valid driver¿s license. Non-u.s. drivers will be required to purchase a temporary international driver¿s permit, at a cost of $25, in conjunction with a valid license from the renter¿s country of residence.

Vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and should be returned full to avoid a locally determined refueling charge.

There are no restrictions on mileage. Vehicles may be taken (with request) to the adjacent island of st. john.

Liability Insurance-Third Party primary liability is included in the rental rates.Customer is responsible for any physical damage done to the rental vehicle.

Rental car must be returned to our St. Thomas location (same as pick up). In the event the rental car is dropped off at the airport or after hours there will be a charge of $100.00/ day plus any additional parking fees or fines. If the vehicle is dropped off in st. john there will be a $400.00 recovery fee. Rental car must be returned to our st. thomas location (same as pick up).

Credit card : a charge equal to the estimated amount of the rental plus $500.00 deposit is required at te time of rental. Deposits are returned after the rental car is returned undamaged and all incidental fees are paid. All renters must have a valid credit card in their name upon arrival at the rental counter. If you have made a reservation you may pay on arrival however to make a reservation we will need a credit card to guarantee your vehicle. There may be an authorization on your Credit Card statement of USD$1.00 please be advised that a no show fee equivalent to a one day rental plus taxes with a minimum of USD$35.00 will be charged to the Credit Card. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. For customer satisfaction Economy will apply a refund for any of the reasons below-after verification- -flight cancelled and customer could not get to the rental location-natural disaster prevented travel- Illness prevented travel-death in family prevented travel-jury duty prevented travel-Economy was unable to fulfill the customer reservation (example no vehicle available) - Any action due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please be advised that there will be a charge of a handling fee for cancelling. If a customer chooses to change the date of their reservation the handling fee will be waived but may be subject to a rate adjustment. For date change please contact 1 877 326 7368. Vehicles are held for two hours after reserved arrival time. When flight details are provided, we will hold vehicle for up to two hours after flight arrival. In the event of delays, you may call or e-mail us to advise of any changes in your pick up time. When you arrive, please collect any baggage that you may have from the baggage claim area. Please allow our driver 10-15 minutes to collect you curbside.When a flight number is provided, we will honor the reservation up to 60 minutes after the reserved pickup time has passed. please call us for any last minute change in your reservation.

Taxes, fees and surcharges are not included in base rental rate. virgin island government tax is $3.75 per day. Airport access fee is 8.0 percent per rental. Licensing surcharge is $3.75 per day.

Renter is responsible for all damages and repairs while the vehicle is in their possession.In the event of an accident, the driver must obtain an accident report from the virgin islands police department. An incident report (which can be found in the glove compartment) must be completed upon return of the vehicle. Theft protection coverage is not offered.
